Achievements - Cultural   Though the students of MUCWC have not shown much proficiency in the sports field, they have literally outshined their counterparts in other colleges in cultural activities. Almost every year the students of this college win recognition in the form of prize/award whenever they participate in such competitions at the district or University level. Women’s College won the first prize in the dance competition during the Republic Day Celebration 2004 organised by the District Magistrate of BurdwanMonalisa Mitra of MUCWC won the first prize in Kathak Dance competition at Bardhaman Utsab 2004Sujata Mondal: Second in Dadagiri, 2010 (Bengali Media Quiz Programme) Handicrafts: Runa Laila won the National Award for handicrafts from the Honourable President of India in 2004.
