MUC Women's College is a Government Sponsored college affiliated to the University of Burdwan. It is the first college to be accredited under the University of Burdwan, having received a B++ rating from NAAC. M.U.C. Women's College founded on 28 July 1955 even prior to the establishment of the University of Burdwan to which the college is at present affiliated.   More

The academic year starts from the month of June-July. A detailed timetable of the classes conducted is notified to the students from the beginning of the academic year. This helps them in planning their studies well in advance.   

At present the number of books in the library is 27,000. The library regularly procures Journals and Periodicals to enrich itself. Apart from the University Journals there are many standard Journals/Periodicals in the college library.  More
