| Values |
| MUC Women’s College feels that while higher education should be liberal and dynamic in

Community Orientation
|
Every college is, after all, a social institution. So if it is bogged merely in knowledge- dissemination without considering its social relevance or if the college turns its back upon the community which feeds and nourishes it, it will imperil its very existence. M.U. C. Women's College, therefore, has been endeavouring to be community oriented in its activities. The NSS team of the college works for comprehensive social uplift through Survey, Afforestation, Traffic Control, Campus Cleaning to name a few. Blood Donation camps organized from time to time in the college are also directed towards community welfare, especially the welfare of the thalassemia patients . The participation of the college students in AIDS Awareness Programmes strengthens the social campaign against the HIV menace. Through class lectures and project works the students of the college are inspired to understand the environment and threats to it so that they may play active role in making it more habitable for the future generations.
