The college library started catering to the needs of its learners with a modest collection of 788 books some of which were donated by Maharajadhiraj Uday Chand Mahatab from his personal collection.
Over the years new books, not exclusively related to the syllabus, have been added, and the library continues to grow. At present the number of books in the library is over 45,000. Since books alone are not enough to tune up the minds of library-users to the ever-expanding horizon of knowledge, the library regularly procures Journals (17) and Periodicals (25) to enrich its stock.
Keeping pace with the transformation in the field of Information Science, at present the college Library also provides internet facility which enables the students and staff to enrich and update themselves within the college premises.
The Library Catalogue has been computerized and Open-access user system is followed in the Library. Book Bank facility, Question Bank facility, Alumni Membership, etc. are some of the regular services of our college library which have been found useful by batch after batch of learners.
To cater to the needs of Generation Y who are more comfortable with digital version of books, the Library also has started building up a stock of e-resources and awareness (Video)-clips.
The College Library operates keeping in focus the following ideals:
To make the knowledge-inventory accessible to all
To preserve and update the records of human knowledge
To cater to the academic needs of the learners of today and tomorrow
